The new gallery explores how climate change can be tackled

A "stunning" new gallery exploring the past, present and future of energy has opened at the Science Museum.

Energy Revolution: The Adani Green Energy Gallery examines how the world can limit climate change. At the centre of the free gallery is Only Breath, a moving sculpture that stretches 5m (16ft) wide when unfurled. Also on display for the first time is part of the Zero Energy Thermonuclear Assembly (ZETA), a nuclear fusion experiment created in the late 1950s.

Ian Blatchford, the director of the Science Museum Group, said: "This stunning gallery offers even more to ignite curiosity among the millions who will visit in the year ahead - provoking important conversations about the urgent need for the world to generate and use energy more sustainably. Overnight protest held at museum over sponsorship "Our curators have created an inspirational experience, supported by hundreds of people from artists to those involved in acquiring, conserving and transporting vast objects safely into the gallery."

The decision to strike a partnership, announced in 2021, prompted protests as well as the resignations of three trustees or advisors, including TV.

For those affected by flooding however, their immediate concerns are not necessarily about the manmade changes to the earth’s atmosphere. A YouGov poll from February found that while 84% of those surveyed believed Britain was likely to experience similar extreme weather events in the next few years, only 30% thought it was connected to man-made climate change.

There is no evidence to counter the basic premise that a warmer world will lead to more intense daily and hourly rain events. When heavy rain in 2000 devastated parts of Britain, a later study found the climate change had doubled the chances of the flood occurring, said Julia Slingo.

But unfortunately for most of us our role as gardener has never been explained to us. And in misunderstanding our role, we have allowed seeds of all types, both good and bad, to enter our inner garden.

This template is so awesome. I didn’t expect so many features inside. E-commerce pages are very useful, you can launch your online store in few seconds. I will rate 5 stars.
